4). ANCCS Academic Contests!
Date & Time: 3/24, Sunday, 1:00 pm till all the contests are completed.
Contest Location: Lynbrook High School
Contest Address:1280 Johnson Ave., San Jose, CA 95129
First-place winners of BVCS’ Read-Aloud and Western Painting Contests will
represent the school to participate in Regional Academic Contests organized by the
Association of Northern Chinese Schools (ANCCS).
🌹為了鼓勵每一個認真努力準備比賽的小朋友, 今年的朗讀比賽將分為AB兩組。
A組: A班學生;
B組: B班學生。
兩組學生同時比賽, 但分別評分, 分別選出前三名和佳作獎得主。
🌹 Although there will be only one top winner in each division to represent BVCS in
the ANCCS Read-Aloud Contest, in order to inspire and reward the earnest
preparation of all students for the Read-Aloud Contest, the school introduces an
exciting twist this year! All students will perform in the contest simultaneously;
however, they will be evaluated separately with Class A in Group A and Class B in
Group B. Separate evaluations will allow the selection of the internal top three
winners and outstanding mentions from each class. Get ready for a celebration of
talent and effort!

灣谷中文學校是一個由義工所組成的非營利組織,有家長的積極參與,才能順利推動校務。
「家長校園巡守隊」的任務包括:指揮交通, 巡邏校園,下課休息期間, 為不小心受傷的孩子
擦擦藥。「月隊長」負責協調, 帶領並管理校園巡守隊。
我們需要您來擔任灣谷一月,二月月隊長!

Dear BVCS Parent volunteers,
We need your help to secure the campus safety!
Please sign up to be our
January and February Monthly Yard Duty Leads!
This is one of the most rewarding jobs. You can help with BVCS and become an integral
part of the school security team by enforcing safety for all the kids and adults.
We are the team that directs traffic, ensures safety for the entire campus between 6:30
p.m. and 9 p.m., manages all emergency drills, and places band-aids on your kids when
they fall during break time.
Your responsibilities are to coordinate, manage, & lead all facets of security for the
entire month you sign up for.
