灣谷的鎮校之寶 有一位老師，她守護灣谷中文學校的學生十九年了！ 這一位老師，曾經任教於台灣的公立學校，是一名科班出身的 專業教師； 她的教學日新月異，走在時代尖端； 她口袋裡的數位工具玲瑯滿目，信手拈來，就能產出一個有效 又有趣的數位遊戲； 她的課很好玩，但是學生可不能隨便玩！這位老師教學嚴謹， 她不讓學生打迷糊仗！想玩，就要認真學！ |

Bay Valley's Most Valuable Asset
There is a teacher who has been the guardian angel of Bay Valley Chinese School for
19 years!
She used to teach in the public school in Taiwan and has been trained as a professional
teacher. With her ever evolving pedagogy and skillsets, she shapes the learning
experiences of students with the most advanced digital tools and dazzles students with
interesting digital games in virtual classroom. Her students find her instruction amusing
and playful; yet they are not allowed to take the lesson lightly and mess around. She
juxtaposes her lessons with fun and serious learning. Not only are students drawn to the
fun part of the class, but also, they are actively motivated in the learning process!
Learning through play is her style!
Students look forward to meeting with her weekly and there is always an air of
excitement in the classroom. Be it an in-person instruction or a virtual lesson, she has
no trouble keeping students focused and engaged.
Parents’ comment of her after their first meeting is always like, "What an amazing
teacher! She is totally worth waiting for!"
She is the treasure of Bay Valley Chinese School; and her name is Sheue-Fen Lu!
In order to prepare for a wonderful Chinese language lesson, teachers have to spend a
lot of efforts and the prep time always double the class time.
