校方自本週起有新規定： 「接」、「送」學生止於主通道入口。如非校務人員或輪值家長，上課期段，請家長在校外等待。
BVCS is kicking in a new COVID-19 mitigation strategy this week – "PICK UP" and "DROP OFF" of students should occur at the entrance of the main hallway. Only administrative staff, teachers and yard-duty parents are allowed access to classrooms and stay on campus. During class hours, parents should wait outside the gate.

本週五恢復實體教學，因 Omicron 變種病毒傳染速度居高不下，控制校內人流，減低感染機會，請大家做好自我防護，並配合校方新規定暫勿進入室內接送學生。
In-person instruction resumes this week. Yet, since Omicron cases are still soaring at high level, we have to reduce traffic in the hallway and on the campus in order to mitigate transmissibility. Please take all necessary steps to protect yourselves, follow the new mitigation rule, and respect that hallway and classrooms are the off-limit zone.

慶祝灣谷建校二十週年繪畫、作文比賽正在進行中，請學生踴躍投稿，家長多給予鼓勵支持！
The Drawing and Writing Contests are underway and are an important part of our celebration program for the 20th anniversary of the founding of BVCS. We highly appreciate parents' support. Please encourage your children to send in entries.

  Parent Yard Duty   01/21/2022 - Campus Patrol Duty List:
Only one parent/guardian from a household needs to be on duty. Designated parents listed in the table below should sign in with Oliver Choy (our January Yard Duty Lead) this Friday. Duty starts from 6:45 pm to 8:50 pm.

    Why To encourage students to express their feelings of, as well as their ideas and experiences about Chinese School through the medium of drawing and essay writing.
    Where At the comfort of your home
    When To complete during the winter break,
    and submit to the office or to your teacher by 1/28/2022
    Who Group divisions of contestants:
    (1) Contestants in Drawing Contest classified by age/birthdate.
    (2) Contestants in Writing Contest classified by grade level.
    Group Division
    Guidelines Drawing: Any style of drawing is welcome. Letter-sized paper (8.5"x11") is preferred. Please remember to put your name and grade level on the back of the drawing.
    Writing Composition: Neat Chinese handwriting will be favored and will earn extra points. Please click Criteria for more information and print the writing sheet from your contest group.
    Prizes 3 winners would be chosen from each tier, with an award of $50 to 1st place, $30 to 2nd place, and $20 to 3rd place.
