Room Reassignment Announcement: School Office and Parents’ Lounge Are Moving!
Starting this Friday, November 22, 2024, our school office will move to Room A102, and the
Parents’ Lounge will now be in Room A144. These changes will remain in effect through the end
of the school year. Thank you for your understanding as we settle into these new spaces!

上週五的朗讀及西畫比賽競爭激烈，參賽者才華橫溢，實力相當，展現了非凡的潛力和不懈的努
力！我們的評審團進行了深入的討論，細心評估每位參賽者出色的作品和精彩的表現，反覆考量
，最終敲定了獲奬名單。
在宣布得獎者之前，特别向各位共襄盛舉表達由衷的感謝。首先，感謝參賽者，你們的努力和才
華讓我們驚嘆。感謝家長和監護人，謝謝你們的不懈支持和鼓勵。感謝評審團，你們的專業和深
思熟慮的評選令人欽佩。特別感謝學術比賽主任，劉華山的的卓越領導，以及團隊同仁的支持和
辛勤工作，確保活動從頭到尾順利進行。最後，對於此次未能獲獎的參賽者，你們的努力深受肯
定，每一次比賽都是邁向更大成就的階梯。在我們心中，你們都是獲獎者！
下列得獎者將於明年二月八日（星期六）在灣谷的農曆新年慶祝活動中登台接受表彰和證書。各
組第一名同學, 將於明年三月三十日（星期日）, 代表灣谷出征由 [北加州中文學校聯合會]
(ANCCS) 舉辦的年度學術競賽, 和灣區各中文學校推派的第一名學生 一較高下。
Meet the Champions of 2024 BVCS Read-Aloud and Western Drawing Contests!
Last Friday's Read-Aloud and Western Drawing Contests were electrifying, brimming with
extraordinary talent and unwavering dedication from every participant! The competition was
fierce, and our esteemed panel of judges wrestled with their decisions, as every participant had
brought their absolute best. After immersing themselves in thoughtful deliberations, meticulously
evaluating each participant's captivating performances and stellar work, they finalize the list of
winners.
Before announcing the winners, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who
made this event a success. To our talented contestants, your hard work and creativity have
amazed us. To the parents and guardians, thank you for your unwavering support and
encouragement. To our esteemed judges, we deeply appreciate your expertise and thoughtful
deliberations in this exceptionally competitive contest. A special thanks to the Director of
Academic Contests, Angela Chou, for her leadership, and to the supporting staff for ensuring a seamless event. Lastly, to those who didn’t win this time, your efforts are deeply valued—every contest is a step toward greater achievements. To us, you are all winners.
Winners in the tables below will be honored on stage and presented with their awards and
certificates during BVCS' Chinese New Year Celebration on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
First-Place Winners will represent BVCS to compete with other Bay Area Contestants at the
Association of Northern California Chinese Schools (ANCCS) on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

灣谷中文學校是非營利組織, 教職人員有限, 非常需要義工家長投入, 分擔責任。 一個家庭只需要一位家長擔任校園巡守隊員。為了保留家長隱私, 校方決定只公布 一下按姓氏排列月度輪值表。
輪值家長請在 6:45 pm ~ 8:50 pm，向月隊長報到。 對當值週有任何問題, 或想查詢您 值班的確實日期, 請電郵 bayvalleychineseschool@yahoo.com。 每週, 校園巡守隊 月隊長會向值班家長發送電郵, 溫馨提醒。
BVCS is a non-profit organization dedicated to keeping tuition affordable. To support this goal, each household is required to contribute to safety duties by having one parent or guardian on duty. For security reasons, we cannot post all the names publicly. However, below is the general schedule based on last names.
Duty hours are from 6:45 pm to 8:50 pm. Should you have questions about the schedule or want to know the specific date of your campus patrol duty, please send your inquiry to bayvalleychineseschool@yahoo.com. Each week, a yard duty lead will send a reminder email to the assigned parents.
