Contra Costa data and Covid-19
health information: https://covid19.ca.gov The troubling increase in confirmed cases and hospitalizations in November has nearly doubled the October rate, signifying that COVID-19 is surging upward. To prevent unnecessary illness and death that could quickly overwhelm the healthcare system, California Governor Newsom announced the rolling back of 41 counties' reopening plans to the most restrictive purple tier, effective November 16, 2020. Safety measures include discontinuing indoor operation at schools, cinemas and restaurants. The government urges residents to take the safety requirements seriously, and to put on face coverings whenever possible.
