The first three weeks of school gave our students a taste of the e-classroom community, whereas the administration lost no time in responding to requests to change class. Final decisions regarding class reassignments were thoughtfully made in the best interests of students and were carefully weighed withteachers' elaborate inputs.
Parents' participation and support are essential to the success of Chinese education and have always been greatly appreciated. Each class needs to have a homeroom parent to take charge of class fees and to coordinate families for school events. Your involvement not only endows the school with a great resource, but also would enliven your child's experience at BVCS. Step up to the plate. Volunteer to be a room parent. Would you like to dip into the collection of treasures at the Forbidden City? Our tour guide, teacher Amy Chang, will embark on a journey from Bay Valley, across the oceans, to the Taiwan National Palace Museum to look for the renowned "Three Treasures: Duke Mao's Cauldron, Jadeite Cabbage and Meat-shape Stone" Jump on board and find out how Teacher Chang blends these ancient artifacts with modern kitchen and Chinese delicacy.
